A Midsummer Night Slumber is a whimsical overnight gathering for women and gender-diverse folks who are longing to slow down, reconnect and celebrate the magic of summer in community.
Together we’ll create flower crowns adorned with foraged treasures, share a whimsical potluck dinner beneath the trees and spend the evening exploring, wandering and frolicking through the protected forest and rescue farm lands of The Sacred Woods. Along the way there will be plenty of opportunities for photos (feel free to dress up – wings and cloaks welcome!), animal connection, laughter and moments of wild whimsy.
As dusk settles, we’ll gather in the geodome for cozy conversation, late-night snacks and drinks, a movie, card pulling and perhaps even a therapeutic hair brushing circle. The evening will close with a grounding sound bowl journey to carry us gently into rest beneath the stars.
Guests will sleep either in the geodome (first to register) or in fairy-lit tents nestled among the trees. In the morning, we’ll wake slowly and gather for a faery inspired yoga class (with goats, dogs and likely a rooster) and a “Toast to Summer” brunch featuring toast with a variety of breads, spreads and toppings, along with warm cozy drinks.
There is no expectation to perform, share or participate in every activity. You are welcome to join fully, take quiet space for yourself or simply arrive exactly as you are. This gathering is intended to be a soft place to land, a chance to exhale and a celebration of the beauty of midsummer.
