Get cozy this Fall Equinox with an afternoon at The Sacred Woods, an animal care farm tucked within 20 acres of protected forest just east of Sherwood Park.
This small gathering brings together gentle yin yoga, time with rescued animals, a meditative walk through the forest, immersive sound, nurturing touch and therapeutic hair brushing, with seasonal soup, fresh bread and something sweet shared together.
You’ll also take part in an Animal Archetype Experience, spending time with the animals who call The Sacred Woods home and exploring the different qualities we notice in them and might recognize in ourselves. There’s nothing to get right, just a different and playful way to connect with the animals, get curious and see what comes up.
With only 10 guests and 20 acres of forest around us, there’s plenty of room to slow things down. Wander through the woods, meet the animals, eat something warm and spend an afternoon somewhere a little quieter than everyday life.
Curated for women and gender-diverse folks, this is an inclusive, consent-centred space where you’re welcome to come alone, come with a friend, participate at your own pace and simply show up as you are. No yoga or wellness experience needed.
$165 | Limited to 10 guests.
