Join us for the Strawberry Picnic Canada Day Market, a free family-friendly community event at Gold Bar Community Hall.
This welcoming Canada Day market is being organized by 12-year-old Grace, owner of Strawberry Slime Shop, together with her mom. Grace started her small business when she was 9 years old after losing her beloved grandmother, who always believed in kindness, caring, and helping others. This market was created with that same heart — to bring families together, support local makers, and create a fun, inclusive community gathering.
The event will include local vendors, young entrepreneurs, a slime bar, face painting, a craft table, a photo wall, food and treats, and family-friendly community activities.
The first two hours of the market will be sensory-friendly, with a calmer environment for families and children who may benefit from a quieter start to the day.
Free tote bags will also be available for the first 15 guests.
